This is a subjective list, based on both personal experiences as well as shared experiences with the players included. If someone you expect to see isn’t here, it simply means I haven’t played/interacted with them enough to make a fair assessment. First impressions can be misleading and this list will naturally become more accurate as more experience/exposure with/to a wider range of players.
I come from a strong competitive gaming background (primarily Dota 2 and Overwatch). Despite its flaws, HOTS satisfies my competitive MOBA needs—especially its emphasis on teamfighting, which is the aspect I value most. Winning is fun, but I value learning, teamwork and cooperation a lot more. Losing doesn’t bother me unless it’s caused by intentional griefing or sabotage. Because of that, I have zero tolerance for game ruiners: griefers, AFKers, leavers, and anyone who compromises the integrity of a fair 5v5. If that makes me a “tryhard,” so be it—team games should prioritize integrity, sportsmanship and accountability.
“Just play for fun” doesn’t mean playing carelessly. I have fun by giving my best, being a reliable teammate, and creating good memories with others. I joke and troll too—but never at the expense of my team, the draft or the quality of the game. Fun should never come from ruining someone else’s experience.
If you’ve heard good or bad things about me, ignore them and make up your own mind. I’m easy to reach (Discord: 0cage). I don’t start toxicity—I may respond to it, usually when intentional throwing or AFKing costs a winnable game. In most competitive games, this behavior would be penalized; in HOTS, it’s routinely ignored, enabling bad actors and contributing to a community that has largely grown accustomed to toxicity.
